staycation

Hello and thanks for taking the time out of your day to read this post on my blog page. Staycation is the ‘new’ vacation and as I’m here in Cornwall as I write this blog, I can say wholeheartedly when our British summer is as good as it is now, I really wouldn’t contemplate that stressful wait in the airport lounge, yes you know what I mean. Not enough seats, yet lots of shops. Then you’re flight has been delayed, after waiting in total 3 or more hours not forgetting you’re flight was originally due to depart at 6am. The tension you feel is mounting, then you board the plane and oh no! there are screaming children.And that was a 45 minute flight to Guernsey!!!!!!
So, all in all I decided to enjoy a long Bank Holiday weekend here in the UK. Cornwall to be precise, St Austell, a beautiful hotel, perfect, peaceful location. Heading down to breakfast around 9ish then a stroll along the hotels own secluded private beach.Heaven!!! A holiday is good for everyone to take time out and yes am thoroughly enjoying every minute of my extended break. Returning to ‘sunny’ Birmingham tomorrow, Tuesday 30th August
