Happy New Year

At last a New Year and I hope there are many happy memories just waiting for you to discover. Heaven knows we all need ‘happy’ times to look forward to.
And no I’ll not launch into reasons why we all need those times to plan for and look forward to, I’m sure both you and I already know.
And as this New Year begins and we all reflect, I thought I would give you a small insight into just one of the questions I may be asked and the answer to that question.
Sometimes I’m asked “Helen, have you ever met someone and wished you hadn’t”
The answer is ‘once’ and ‘once’ only.
I gave the particular person the benefit of the doubt. Which I would never, ever do again.
My health nor safety was not compromised in any way whatsoever, I was sure of that.
But on a slightly different note, considering ‘he’ was only one person years ago, who I must admit I thought may have awful issues that he must have to contend with on a daily basis, that he would treat someone else in such a blasé manner, the words ‘feel sorry’ for that person seems to ‘have everything’ but ‘has nothing’
Hopefully you’ll understand what that actually means, if we are on the same page, you will.
Always treat others as you expect to be treated.
Life goes on and so it does, thank goodness.
We are all lucky to be here today, to hopefully strive through each day and enjoy when possible, good company, good conversation and not forgetting fun times.
I honestly do hope 2023 and beyond has more good than bad times ahead for you.
